WOMEN’S SELF-CARE & RESILIENCY PROGRAM, SANTA FE, NM

(ONGOING SINCE 2012) In collaboration with Esperanza Shelter for Battered Families WSCRP programs provide innovative Core Wellness trainings to staff who work with underserved women in shelters and trauma treatment centers. Staff trainings in TSP Self-Care and Resiliency offer inspiration, relief from burn-out and a model of self-care and renewal that can be continually applied for the long-term benefit of both staff and clients.

NM NAVAJO NATION ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

(SINCE 2010) NNN WHAT’S IN A STORY offering Core Wellness Exercise, and stories and vocabulary in the Dine Bizaad (Navajo) language and English to elementary school children in 5 New Mexico schools.

WHAT’S IN A STORY (CORE WELLNESS EXERCISE AND MOVEMENT ARTS): SANTA FE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS, SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO (since 2008). Nava, Carlos Gilbert, Amy Biehl, Turquoise Trail, Sweeney and Aspen Community Magnet Elementary Schools. WHAT’S IN A STORY is an inter-cultural, interdisciplinary and bilingual program of movement, body & health awareness, literacy and creative storytelling arts for New Mexico elementary school children, now reaching over 1000 students. SANTA FE PUBLIC LIBRARY (2010) sponsored by Friends of the Library. WHAT’S IN A STORY at the Main, Southside and La Farge branch libraries.
