It can be said that dancing your heart out makes everything feel okay again—makes a breathing space. I welcome all to join me in my online movement classes—for all those who have attended my last sessions and all new participants who want to explore the freedom of movement. Take this opportunity to pause from the stress of what we face, day to day, reconnect with yourself and discover your own enlivened movement. Whether you participate on your feet, from the floor or in a chair, these unique classes bring the taste of resiliency, a mental and physical reset. Everyone is welcome—for those who are well and those who are healing.

ZULEIKHA is an international performer and educator who inspires dynamic creativity through the movement arts and everyday self-care. She is renowned for her Rumi collaborations, innovative teaching, and her TAKE A MINUTE™ vitality and resiliency exercise program. Her international non-profit The Storydancer Project (TSP) serves girls, women and families in marginalized communities. TSP inspires positive change in the face of adversity through transformative movement and self-care practices that restore vitality and cultivate joy.

SPIRIT MOVEZ – Dancing the Sacred

From time immemorial, dance has been a container for the expression of the sacred. Having spent her life with teachers from sacred and artistic lineages, Zuleikha brings these practices into the exploration of body, heart and soul. There is a sacred thread that goes through all of life. SPIRIT MOVEZ is an exploration of this thread, into the felt sense of embodiment. Drawing on world music and the sacred landscape, mystical poetry & sacred text, these sessions invite movement expressions of the heart.
