Founder and Executive Director of The Storydancer Project (TSP), Zuleikha is the recipient of the prestigious Humanitarian Award from Pediatric Nursing Journal for her global work helping women and children suffering from life’s circumstances, and received the 2010 Images and Visions of Hope Media Award of Appreciation for “infusing the art of dance with the gifts of healing, understanding and love of life, through her outstanding work in the world promoting positive personal and social change.”
Zuleikha has dedicated her life to bringing the possibility of well-being into places where there is great need. Her Core Wellness programs have been used within many streams of society, including orphans of tsunamis, daughters of sex workers, women in crisis, children and families with cancer and debilitating disease, and women and girls living inside of fundamentalist Muslim villages. Zuleikha is able to open a doorway to the natural joy of being human and share this with people of all ages and states of being.
