FROM ZULEIKHA
Sufi Ahmed Murad Chishti Zikr is a Zikr of Gratitude
I began singing it at Lama Foundation in the pine trees just above the Maqbara of Murshid SAM, which is now the Dargah.
It is a Zikr of contemplation in Gratitude, for all that Murshid SAM has given, and the awareness of the Chishti lineage.
It is a slow tempo, and a deep practice. It is done sitting, in the feeling. If you want to stand in the Zikr, it would be slow, interlocked elbows, and the gentle Zikr movement starting to bow on the left, and coming back, and bowing on the right. The feet stay still. It is a contemplation in Gratitude.
If you want to learn this Zikr, here are the notes, the chords, and a recording with the melody, and one time through with the chords. Though it is on a harmonium, you could play on any instrument, in the slow and deep way.
